MP35N Composition

MP35N is an ultra-high strength nickel-cobalt alloy known for its toughness, ductility and exceptional corrosion resistance. Manufactured using a process involving less cold work reduction, the alloy has the best balance of strength and stress corrosion cracking resistance for harsher environments. This alloy is work-strengthened to attain strength levels of 260 to 300 ksi (1793-2086 MPa) at its full strength levels.

MP35N alloy resists corrosion in hydrogen sulfide, salt water and other chloride solutions, as well as mineral acids (nitric, hydrochloric, sulfuric). In addition, it has exceptional resistance to crevice corrosion cracking in seawater and other hostile environments.
